Remember my post a week ago about trying to find Anthropologie style bedding for half the price?

I found it!  Well, it wasn't half the price, it was actually 1/4th of the price.  Thank you Tuesday Morning for being so fabulous!

Don't mind the filing cabinet night stand, as we're searching for more perminent furniture for this room....

Also, Jo-Ann's Fabrics was having a President's Day sale this Monday, so we picked out some fabric to upholster the Thomasville chair I found on Craigslist!

I will post pictures once the chair is done of course.

February is such a lovely month.


By the look on our faces, we obviously didn't win the newlywed game!
The question was: "Who does your husband have a man-crush on?"

 

It's really fun becasue it's short and full of fun celebrations (Valentine's Day with my man, our Valentine's Day dinner with friends- and a hilarious rendition of the Newlywed game, my birthday, Groundhog's day...the list keeps going).



We changed our name tags to Clive and Juilana.....













Besides all of these fun activities, I have been traveling a lot for work and slacking on updates of the house. We have a lot of projects going on right now including the staircase, figuring out flooring options, tearing up the family room, etc....  My parents are visiting this weekend to help, so I'll post some progress pictures along the way. 

In the mean time, I have been thinking more about design and decorating in each of our finished bedrooms.  I really like Anthropologie in general and when I discovered their bedding this month, it was no surprise that I liked each of their bedding sets!

Bedroom Transformation

Hello!

As Eric and I are working hard towards the foyer and staircase being done, I thought I would post a few pictures of a bedroom we've been working on as well :)

Although the main parts of the room are complete, I hope to put more effort in art and decor in the upcoming months.....

Sorry I haven't update the house blog in a bit of a while...life has been hectic. In the next two weekends big changes are coming so look out for some updates shortly!

Below is a picture of the bedding we recently bought for a spare bedroom. The color is Eucalyptus...so it's not this muted gray color (and it was 50% off)!
