Christmas!

Hey All, Happy Thursday!

Taking a break from home renovation updates, I've recently been thinking about and preparing for the Christmas season. Yesterday I spent the night reading by the fire while listening to Clay Aiken's Christmas CD (It’s amazing, even if you make fun of me) ...how much better can it get? During my quiet and restful evening, my mind wandered to the potential thought of sending out Christmas cards this year. I have actually never sent out Christmas cards before, but now that I am technically an adult (being married and owning a house... whoa) I feel like this is a tradition I might want to start up. Plus, my friend Ruthie has the cutest card holder on her wall, and I'd love to make her wall of fame :)

While there are hundreds of styles of cards available online, I like the style of these two cards from Shutterfly. These cards look professionally done but only take a few minutes to create! The prices are great too at $0 .90 per card (not too shabby).

Shutterfly not only offers Christmas cards, but also custom calendars, cute personalized mugs, and much more....

P.S. If you have a blog and mention how awesome their Christmas cards are, you get free Christmas cards!  If you would like to sign up for this promo too, click here.

  1. Why would anyone make fun of you for listening to Clay Aiken sing Christmas carols?? Nobody sings Christmas like Clay. You aren't alone!!

  2. Hey Crazy! I just helped my mom order her cards on Shutterfly a few days ago... too bad I don't have a blog or I could've gotten her a discount.

I bought cards this year to send out! I'm a bit too excited about it.

Also, I had to let you know that Bryan and I are having the eggplant dinner from your last post tonight. I ask him to make it like once a week. Glad you like the site! You should try the cranberry lemon scones! SO GOOD! I made them the other week and took them to work and they were a big hit.

  3. Thanks for the shout-out :) You will, of course, make the wall of fame when I get your Christmas card!

I love the card samples that you posted - it made me laugh because I actually looked at both of those when I was picking ours out! :)
