To start, my husband has planned a dessert and wine birthday party for me! I haven't had a birthday party since Junior High...so I'm excited to to say the least.
On TOP of that, he's taking me in the city for brunch (@ Toast) on Saturday and then helping me participate in a contest: The Power of Pink Chicago Street Giveaway.
This Chair Giveaway is a big cause of excitement for me. I love contests, I love fun (& free) chairs, and I'm a big fan of House Beautiful! Even if I don't win any of the chairs, I'm looking forward to spending the day with friends and family and doing something fun that I enjoy. This contest couldn't have come at a better time!
So, if you are free on Saturday morning/afternoon and want to help on my mission to find a random chair hidden in Chicago, I'd love love love the help!

Do I really need a pink chair?? No. If I won one of these chairs, I think I would reupholster the fabric to match our house eventually.

I'm not sure a pink chair would look right in my house, but I do love the big armchairs. Perhaps with a less vibrant colour!!
